You can manually sync a listing's calendar with the booking channels in the Guesty Admin. Follow the instructions below.
Tip:
Use this tool when a user refers to discrepancies between the Guesty calendar and the booking channel's calendar.
Step by step:
- Open the Guesty Admin.
- Search for the user's account in the top search bar.
- From the toolbar on the left side, click Listings.
- Open the relevant listing.
- From the menu on the left side, click Calendar.
- Above the calendar, click Sync calendar.
- Click Ok.
Note:
Clicking this button will trigger a calendar push to all the connected channels. It can take up to ten minutes for the sync to take place.
Important:
Ask the user to check that the channel's calendar is correct. Always wait at least ten minutes before opening a Jira.
If the channel's calendar is correct
- Open a Jira ticket.
- Specify that the manual sync was successful. The team will know that it's a sync issue.
If the channel's calendar is incorrect
- Open a Jira ticket with a higher priority.
- Specify that the manual sync was unsuccessful. The team will know that it's not a sync issue.
